After practicing paper sculpturing techniques and a paper plate craft for Mother’s Day on zoom, the students of grade 4 put their creativity to work on their own paper plate inventions. Many were 3D, a few were hangings. There were even videos of the activity for Extra Credit. Yay!

As the year comes to a close, I usually introduce my students to stem activities.   Since remote learning has been our media of communication and while still wanting them to be engaged in learning,  they were instructed to construct a marshmallow bridge after our introduction lesson. Here is a sneak peek at what they created. These students Grades 5 and 6 did a phenomenal job!
